Our
Teams
Organized baseball and softball in Parma exist from high school all the way down to teeball through the PARK recreation program. That means children can get on the field when they're as young as four years old and play through their high school years.
School Baseball
The Parma Panthers are a member of the 3A Western Idaho Conference with a season beginning in early March (practice generally begins in late February) and concludes with the State Tournament in mid-May. There is no cost associated with participating in baseball at Parma High School.

Summer Baseball
The program has traditionally supported two American Legion teams - the Gauchos (A) and the Vaqueros (Junior/B) - but, in 2025, the program was able to add a third team, the Charros (AA). The Charros and Gauchos play varsity-level baseball while the Vaqueros' league is close to a JV level of competition. The teams are based in Parma but include players from surrounding communities in a cooperative environment to ensure there are enough players. There is a cost associated with participating in American Legion baseball.

Youth Baseball
Youth baseball - teams outside of the high school - are run through Parma's PARK (Parma Area Recreation) department. Activities begin with teeball for kids as young as four years old and includes a middle-school baseball team. Contact PARK for sign-up dates, schedules, and participation fees.
