Senior Braxton Heffelfinger and junior Sam Hultman each earned second-team All-State accolades following the conclusion of the 2024 season.
The All-State team is selected based on votes from coaches across the state. The votes were collected and results published by the Idaho Statesman newspaper.
It was Heffelfinger's second All-State selection. He also received second-team recognition following his sophomore season. On the mound, he finished in the top ten in the state in strikeouts (60) while finishing second on the team in innings pitched (40.2), appearances (14) and earned run average (3.27).
The player Heffelfinger tied for the team lead in stolen bases and RBI was Hultman, who also led the team with two home runs and runs scored (31), which ranked third in the Snake River Valley Conference. His .386 batting average, .481 on-base percentage, .545 slugging percentage, and 1.026 OPS (on-base plus slugging) were all tops on the team. Defensively, he led the team in assists (54) while posting a solid .923 fielding percentage. As a pitcher, Hultman struck out 33 batters in 35.2 innings pitched.
Heffelfinger and Hultman were also selected as first-team All-Conference performers by the Snake River Valley Conference coaches. Sophomore Kaden Cole was voted onto the second team and junior Jacob Mikelson was an honorable-mention pick.
